Finish Logic Services Overview

Powder Coating:

Powder coating is not just a surface finish; it's an art combined with science. At Finish Logic in Concord, we champion this technique for its durability and flexibility. The process involves electrostatically applying a dry powder to a metal surface, followed by curing under heat to form a protective layer. The outcome? A hard finish, tougher and more resilient than conventional paints. This is ideal for various metal items—car components, furniture, or any commercial-grade equipment. Besides aesthetics, powder coating also provides excellent protection against corrosion, ensuring your metal pieces last longer.

Cerakote:

Beyond regular powder coating, there's Cerakote—a specialty ceramic-based finish crafted to handle extreme conditions. Specifically designed for metal items that need to withstand high temperatures (like exhaust systems, turbos, and headers), Cerakote provides unparalleled resistance to abrasion and chemicals. Able to handle temperatures beyond 500°F up to 1800°F, its chemical composition ensures longevity and durability, especially in environments where regular finishes might falter. While Glacier Black and Glacier Silver are popular shades, we can apply any Type-C Cerakote products

Chemical Stripping:

Before we even think about applying a new finish, every metal item we receive undergoes a chemical stripping process. By immersing metal items in a specially formulated chemical solution, we remove old paints, varnishes, and contaminants. This ensures the bare metal surface is in its purest form, ready to bond seamlessly with the new coat.

Sandblasting:

It's all about the foundation. Before coating, we ensure the metal surface is pristine. Sandblasting uses fine granular sand shot through a nozzle at high speeds. The process efficiently removes rust, old paint, and other surface imperfections, revealing a clean, fresh surface underneath. This not only enhances the adherence of the coating but ensures consistency and longevity. Even if you're not looking to coat, a good sandblast can rejuvenate metal pieces, giving them a new lease on life.

Our Process at a Glance:
